Missing wire

Featured Replies

Hi everyone.

Having a cold start issue with my 1.8 Connect. Had someone come down last night to do a diagnostic on it. Came back with a glowplug circuit error. He then noticed the wire on the dipstick housing was missing. Looked every where in the bay nothing. He said it looks like someone has been messing as there is white tap over the trucking. Could someone please help with where to trace the wire back to so I can either repair or replace.

added some pictures if it helps.

Thank you in advance.

Seen this picture. This is the wire I am looking for. Not sure if it’s Green with Yellow or Green with Orange.

That second cable will go to a fairly large relay somewhere.  I'm not sure exactly where on the Connect.  Possibly the chassis rail below the headlight area.  Possibly attached to the battery tray.  It'll be on that side of the bay anyway.
