Hi everyone have a problem someone mite be able to help me with ? I have a mk 2 1.8 petrol focus ecotec I,am looking for a catalytic converter and lambda sensor would anyone have them or know we're I could get them thanks .

For catalyst, see below, Lambda sensors can be tested with a blowtorch and meter before replacement (see You Tube) Often No Name aftermarket ones have a poor record so check the guarantee?

Catalysts:
Original ones are very expensive and perhaps not worth it for a 2007 vehicle.

Always a risk with used parts

After market parts sometimes don't have a good record.

The options I know about are:
Used part from  sellers such as:
https://www.galamotors.co.uk/ (they certainly know the value and sometimes are similar to new so watch out!)
https://www.partsgateway.co.uk/?noredirect=true   You add the part you want and various suppliers email you back. There are others.
Your local motor factors.

One UK after market supplier that may have a better record is:
https://www.bmcatalysts.co.uk/
I think they sell through ebay
In all cases, ask for the warranty?

No guarantees from me but hopefully that's a start and others will suggest far better options (there's a challenge!)

Only problem is the OP is not in the UK 🤣

He can probably get parts sent to ROI find similar companies there or check local suppliers.

You would think that would be the case but @StephenFord who is in the UK (NI) more often than not finds UK mainland suppliers won't ship to NI because of the paperwork.

Agree, a Brexit Bonus! (ooops) but at least @John Simpson has some ideas from me and may even come back to us!

I researched an A/C compressor for another post earlier, and it came up with a £30 P&P delivery charge. Yet if I opened a 'private' window without my Ebay login, it was offered as FREE P&P LOL Still, I'm a firm believer in Brexit, they just did it all wrong 🤣

Needs checking but looks like another starting point:

Where IS @John Simpson when you need him!
