Galaxy mk2 immobiliser issue

Hi All, got a 2021 galaxy 2.3 and on occasions and more frequently now, the immobiliser continues to flash rapidly and the fuel pump won't start up. If I flick the key on and off several times I does eventually go , but it's getting more frequent. If been advised it could be an issue with the fuel pump relay,  any ideas out there please?

    The issue is the immobiliser is not detecting the ignition key correctly. Nothing to do with the fuel pump which won't run until the immobiliser has read the key.

    The rapidly flashing light is usually in the form of a coded signal. For example 8 rapid flashes and a slight pause before it repeats. The number of flashes can be checked to find out what the issue is.

    Hi, thank you for that , next time it happens I take it I need to count the flashes, and then Google it

    Hi All, the galaxy finally wouldn't start again, I started to count the flashes, but I lost count after about 20 flashes, then having given up counting, I turned the key again at it started , so maybe I miscounted  any ideas anyone?
