Engine malfunction warning and traction control light

Featured Replies

When driving for around 30 minutes or longer on a dual carriageway to work, I will get an engine malfunction warning and a alert noise as well as a traction control light.

when I stop and turn the engine off and then back on the warning and light resets for another 30ish minutes.

Any ideas what this could be or previous experiences with the same issue?

You need a suitable Adaptor. These are the ones that FORScan recommend, other cheaper ones may not work at all or properly.

All of those 'U' communication faults point towards the common cluster issue.

If that is the issue, it can be fixed fairly easily, the cluster just needs to be resoldered.  @rd457 offers this service.
