How the order of words can change the meaning

I just came across this in the introduction to a podcast about the analysis of samples returned from the Bennu asteroid sample return mission:

"new clues about how life on Earth may have begun from a dusty old space rock"

Although it's probably obvious to most people what the writer means, if you take it as written it could mean that life actually arose on the rock and was delivered from it to Earth. A simple rearrangement of the words would make it clear and unambiguous:

"new clues from a dusty old space rock about how life on Earth may have begun"

Just shows how important it is to get the order of your words right . . . . . :biggrin:
