1.0 mk3 exhaust

Featured Replies

Good day.

Does anyone know the (stock) downpipe's bore diameter? Total diameter, the top part.

Is it 63mm or 60mm?

Then it goes down as 55mm and rest of the exhaust's pipe is 45mm.

About that part. What's the external diameter?

It starts 60,50 mm then around 56,00 mm  the top part.

Only the low part remains to be measured.

I measured the downpipe low part it is 7 inches so it is around 56mm.

What's that in Celsius? 😂

External millimeters pipe diameter - stock.

So top and low parts are around 56 mm mainly.

I think you misunderstand my comment. I was having a laugh that you measured the circumference in inches and then quoted the diameter in millimetres 😉

The best thing for stock or for the - so called - first stage remap/tune is to keep the stock downpipe.

For even more increased performance the downpipe usually should be replaced with a 60mm or 63mm pipe including 200 cpsi catalyst (according to requirements).
