Hi so i have the following codes P0683 & P06DF

Symptoms only appear on cold start on startup runs really rough with stinky smoke after about ten seconds revs become normal and smoke stops. 

Would anyone be able to advise on this please

    Probably a faulty glowplug chucking the readings out for the module.  When were the plugs last changed?

    @TomsFocus thank you will get the plugs checked i have purchased this car at the start of the month the car is on 140k im not too sure if they were ever changed. The dealership i purchased it off is now not answering my calls. I do really like the car however so will just get it fixed locally.

    Also @TomsFocuswould you be able to recommend a good brand of plugs i have seen on ebay you can get a whole chinese set for £14 but guessing they're not great quality.

    I would stick to known brands such as Bosch, Beru or NGK if possible.
