Hi Scott, welcome.

Its certainly not white! Always hard to tell from pics, but I'll take a stab at Midnight Sky which was very popular around that time.

Registration Number YT63 YLL       VIN: WF0CXXGAKCDC77346

FIESTA ZETEC S     Built: 26/09/2013

Just checked the vehicle build sheet and it says it's "Frozen White" with a "Ultimate/Monax Red" interior 🤣🤣

Either the build sheet is wrong (quite possible) or your car is a 'ringer' 🙁

Haha yeah maybe.... the V5 says grey. Don't think its midnight sky, was thinking it was and painted a door mirror cover in that colour, no where near. Very odd

I've found a pic online of another car which looks the same colour, what are the records showing the colour for this one?

Very much looks like Midnight Sky. I've had a couple of cars that colour and a mate had one too. Colour seemed to vary according to light - sometimes looked blue, sometimes grey.

Touch ups can vary. Another member bought what purported to be the correct colour, sprayed a mirror housing and it was completely different.

Appreciated, looks like that it's then

Yeah think that's the issue, thanks for the info though appreciated

Hi,

I I’m having the exact same issue. I need a touch up kit for mine but all it says is blue and I can’t seem to find an exact match. Tried Halfords and they don’t have it either can anyone help?

Vision Blue.

Thank you. So would you say this is the right thing I need? It’s just to touch up 2 small patches where someone scraped the car

Yes, but I wouldn't expect a perfect match from any of these pre-made touch up kits unfortunately.  Only chance you've got of a perfect match is having a local company custom mix it after taking colour samples from your car.

Is the paint code not on a sticker on the inside of the drivers door, along with chassis no etc ?

Yes, but that will only get you the standard base colour like 'Vision Blue' unfortunately over the course of production the exact shade will change very slightly.

Moondust Silver has been used for over 30 years and there are about 26 paint codes used for that and each code has several shades !!

I’ve just come across this post, I took delivery of this car brand new as a Frozen White so it’s very surprising to see it’s now grey and I’d like to know the reason why somewhere along the line, Feel free to get in touch as I have a whole folder of old photos and history!

While not in the 'Black Country' Leicestershire is dangerously close. You can expect white to go a bit grey with time 😉

Is it possible the V5 isn’t legit?

Remember some issues a while back where a batch of them, possibly blanks, had been stolen.
