Hello, i need to replace the rear left passenger door (badly dented, body shop said get a new door). Just wondering if the year has to be specific can i use older years or later year doors?

Going by Autodoc details, one from one from a 2015 to 2018 should fit.

If you search ebay for a Galaxy mark 3 breaking, you might be lucky enough to find one in the correct colour.

What is the registration number, or the VIN of your Galaxy and I can confirm.

I thought Mk1 was about 1997-2006.  So Mk2 would be 2006-2015?  Perhaps there's another 'facelift' type discrepancy as with the Fiesta.

Its messy with the Galaxy the MK1 was as you said 97-06 but the facelift MK1 was termed as a MK2 but it was still the MK1 first generation 

The real MK2 came out in 2006 but was classed as a MK3 second generation following the above however the facelift was also classed as MK3 

again the real MK3 came out in 2015 but again classed as the MK4 third generation.

The classifications change from parts supplier and even on eBay and Amazon 

I bought a new Galaxy Mk1 which was an 'R' reg. Then I replaced it with a Galaxy Mk1 facelift which was a '51' reg. Both of these were the same as the VW Sharon and the Seat Alhambra.
