Hallo, how much AH and what type of battery for Ford Galaxy WA6 103 kw 2008 TDCi...Calcium Silver or any good recommendations??

    From another thread, I recall that silver/calcium are no longer available??

    If it's lasted from new you are very lucky!!

    I suggest Halfords own brand 4 year "warranty" (that doesn't mean it will start your car for 4 years, but probably no one offers that - check warranty carefully) is a compromise as there is a big premium for Varta 5 year.

    Tayna have a good reputation (online only) but if there's a problem, you can go to any Halfords.

    Do let us know what you decide...?

    Plus if your age vehicle has a Smart (there's a joke) charging system, it will need to be programmed in (unsure about your car)??

    No UK or European Fords have a battery that needs "to be programmed in". Most Fords 2010'ish onwards do have a BMS that needs a simple reset when a new battery is fitted.

    How found exact Battery and gonna buy it this week...I got FORscan lite and how i can reset BMS on my EU Ford Galaxy Wa6 2008..On service menu on FORscan lite it not showing Battery management system reset..It shows all kind of modules but not exactly anything for Battery

    You can't.

    It doesn't have BMS.
