Custom 182 Ecoblue

Featured Replies

Hi All.

I am hoping someone here can send me in the right direction.

I have a 182 2LT Custom with 192 Kms. The engine was running very rough and was very hard on diesel. I changed the 4 Injectors which made a massive improvement with both MPG and performance. However before we changed the injectors it was a bit smokey which we put down to the bad injectors but it has not rectified the problem.

The smoke has reduced some bit but not completely.   It is normally smokey for a short spell after starting it in the morning and seems to clear itself as you drive.  But if you are in traffic or stopped at lights etc when you pull away you get a puff of smoke.

Has anyone here advise on where to look next to resolve this issue. I have had suggestions it maybe the DPF?.

Any help would be greatly received.

Thanks .
