I’ve been driving my new car for a while now, having recently upgraded from a 2022 Ford Focus to a 2025 Focus. I’m settling in well and really enjoying the extra power of the MHEV system. The car is incredibly smooth and a pleasure to drive.

However, over the past few weeks, I’ve come across a few questions that I couldn’t find answers to in the manual.

My previous Focus had a small foot icon that indicated when to lift off the accelerator before a junction, helping to maximize engine braking and reduce brake usage. How can I enable this feature on the 2025 model? If it has been replaced by the new green section on the display, how does it work?

I’ve noticed that the stop-start system cuts the engine at around 6 mph when coming to a stop. While this is useful when I’m actually stopping, it becomes inconvenient in slow-moving traffic, as the engine turns off and back on multiple times within seconds. Is there a way to adjust the speed at which the system activates?

I’d really appreciate any guidance on these features. Thanks!
