Loss of engine power when lights turned on

Hi, yesterday I noticed when turning lights on, Side lights or dipped the engine loses power for a few seconds, the alternater is charging at 14.5 volts, it drops to 14 when lights are turned on so I don't think it's that, has anyone else had this?

    All engines drop RPM when the alternator is put under load. At idle I'd expect a charging voltage of around 13.95V so I can't see what your concern is.
