Head unit won't work

Head unit won't power up just getting the ford audio message with nothing from the head unit. It was working before installing a head unit I purchased from a website that stated plug and play it came with a 10 amp fuse  so after that not working I plugged the old one back in with no power to the old one could it of just died? The information screen turns on but cant get it to go past the message ford audio. Ive tried pulling the fuse for the sync and it doesn't docanything at all I've seen separate posts about their potentially being another fuse for the stereo or is it maybe the old head unit is just in need of replacing the wires all look fine and dont look like they've been damaged the cars a ford fiesta mk 7.5 or 7
