Currently watching a law crime drama, 'Reasonable Doubt', in which the predominately black cast toss about the 'N' word with abandon to each other, coupled with soundtracks using the same word in full in rap music. (Similar speech is also featured in other series like, 'Power', and 'The Penguin')  It's actually beginning to irritate me it's used so much & I find it offensive. If a white person used it, they'd likely end up in prison with our current 'free speech' legislation!

If a word is banned, shouldn't it be banned for everyone?
