Interior lights?

Featured Replies

Hi I'm new here. I've just bought a 2011 s-max and I love it. It does come with a couple of issues, if any of you beautiful people may shed some light and suggestions?. How do I set the interior lights to come on when I open the door and go off when I close it/start engine??. How do I turn off the footwell lights while driving. Now... This may be linked, but, the bootlid has the issue of saying it's open when it's not, which could be latch sensor or wiring in top corner of the boot, which I have read, can wear through? Is there a series of interior light button presses..or press and hold to set the lights correctly?? I have found if I press and hold the big two above drivers head.. the light does a quick flash to say something is now set??

Thanks in advance and hope

Harrie

Sounds like you have a BCM issue.

If the footwell lights are on then it thinks the doors are open, plus they've turned the roof light off
