Telescopic Car Cleaning Mop

Featured Replies

Has anyone got one of these?  There are quite a few options online around £10 so looking for personal experience if possible.

I can't bend or lean due to health conditions but my cars could really do with a clean now.  Not bothered about swirls or a perfect finish, just need them to look a bit less abandoned after recent events.

I have very limited storage space so the smaller the better when not in use.  Must fit in cupboard under sink.  Prefer a telescopic sliding shaft rather than one with separate shafts.  Also want to balance that with the largest wash head that will fit in a 10L bucket for the quickest coverage.

Can't run a hose outside now so no need for a hose attachment.

Any recommendations?

Thanks

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/234898212514 I bought one of these, however it only shorts down to 1m in length, so may not suit your needs. Incidentally it has the hose attachment but it doesnt need to be used.

Currently looking at this one.  Looks alright in the video.  Anyone on here got one?

I bought a brush very similar to that type of head and tbh, i never used it it was pretty poor quality. Its still in the shed unused.

Well, I've ordered a mop like that (but not that one) so will see what it's like when it arrives.

Next problem is getting water outside.  I used to run a long hose through a window down to another long hose reel but that's no longer an option for multiple reasons.  I do have a watering can and bucket but neither fit in the sink.  I'm wondering if anywhere sells a short hose, approx 1.5-2m that I could just slip over a tap and place the other end into the bucket.  Like the old showers but without the spray head and for only one tap.  I'm not really sure what phrase to even search for something like that?

Thanks, but I'm not paying that much for one.

I'm just going to half fill the washing up bowl, then transfer that into the bucket.  Not going to bother rinsing with the watering can, the rain will get it eventually.
