Hi members help would be much appreciated I have recently had a fault with the powershift gearbox I opened the tcm took it out cleaned each one and tested them then put them all back together I went to fit the unit onto the gearbox in the tight space I had but it’s not fully coming together it’s staying about a inch away to be flush with gearbox but can’t seem to figure it out spent hours trying but just won’t move in more any suggestions please have took it out about 5 times to check all seems good  push and wiggle it and nothing it slides on fine on the 2 screw look alike things but won’t push in any further 

All I can suggest is looking carefully down each access hole (mirror) to see if any of the black sensor turrets or other bits that stick out (?) is being blocked by something inside that has moved during the repair.
Perhaps using a rule and comparing with the amount the turrets stick out (if that's what is causing the issue)

Any way to wiggle and determine what is being blocked (great care needed with sensors as I believe they are delicate)
