Ford fiesta 1.25 2007 rough idle and more

Featured Replies

After some maintenance work done at the mechanic car was shutting down because of low rpms on the way home, that has fixed itself but now it has rough idle, sometimes in first gear or reverse the gas lags a bit after i press the pedal. It also starts with up to 2000 rpm which it didnt do before and one time after i removed foot from the gas it stayed at that rpm for a few seconds before lowering it.

I heard it may be iac valve or some sensor, even dirty throttle body and spark plugs. I just want to know if anyone had similar problem or knows how to fix mine because i dont want to mess something up on my own. Cheers

Little update,

I have checked the pcv hose that goes from pcv valve to throttle body and it looks undamaged. I hear kind of a hissing sound near the air intake but i thinks its not coming from it and i dont see any damage to the hoses.

Should i check sensors or pcv valve next?
