I have a 65 plate Focus, is it possible to add new apps on the radio if so is it easy. Not sure what model the radio is, it just says SYNC on the front.

    65 plate will most likely be Sync 2.  You can confirm that if the home screen is split into 4 sections.

    Apps can't be added to Sync 2.  Some apps can be controlled using applink, but that was never particularly effective.

    Sync 2 doesn't support Android Auto or Apple CarPlay either.

    I think your best option would be an upgrade to Sync 3.  You do need to change some hardware for that, but later Mk3.5 Focus has it so it's a fairly easy swap.
