[Solved] Aux belt under tray snapped?

Featured Replies

After checking my oil levels, I've noticed that the under tray which seems to protect the aux belt from underneath split and cracked and some of the plastic was resting on the (driveshaft?) on drivers side. I've snapped off the offending half of the plastic which was in danger of getting in the way of steering, so I still have the half of the under tray which is protecting the aux belt.

I couldn't even see where the bit of plastic going toward the driveshaft was supposed to connect to? Wondering if the garage which changed my cam belt and aux belt put it on there?

Is this something to worry about?
