3D Printable Ford Speaker Adapters

Featured Replies

I wanted to share something that might be useful for fellow Ford owners!

As part of my sound system upgrade, I designed and 3D printed speaker adapters for my Mondeo. Since these adapters fit multiple Ford models using the same commercial speaker brackets, I’ve uploaded them to Printables for anyone to download and use.

Material Recommendation: I suggest printing in ABS or ASA for better durability.

What a brilliant and novel post. Brought up in the 60s watching Star Trek with their, 'replicator' (a voice activated machine that would replicate pretty much anything on command), this stuff was all science fiction. I love it...

End of the day I produced for my own use, but after I finish printing the 2 for the rear of my Mondeo, it would go forgotten about, as you can only replace so many factory speakers in a car.

I might as well share so it gets used, and the small reward from the downloads if people choose to download and print for themselves.

Yea I could print and sell them, but my printer does what I need it for, but is not something I would want to run none stop.

2 of these took 17 hours to print on my printer

I have since put together a basic ring that clips in perfectly behind the tweeter grills, which are currently sized for my Alpine tweeters and are friction fit, but could easily be adapted for other tweeters.

These will be for the

Mondeo Mk4/ S-Max Mk1 & Galaxy Mk3 to my knowledge
