FORD TPMS Sensor F2GT-1A180-DD

Featured Replies

I have fitted 2 new Ford Motorcraft TPMS sensors on the rear tires, the left one automatically was detected, the rear right showed a "-" sign on the display, i thought it was a defective sensor so ordered another one.

But this time when the tyre shop installed it i asked them to swap the tires around on the rear, it seems the working sensor is now not working on the rear right !

Would it be worth me buying one of those cheap TPMS calibration tools to see if i can make the rear right sensor get recognised ? i don't think the sensors are defective but something to do with the rear right placement specifically.

Just to note i have reset the sensors on the setting and driven on a long journeys but the warning message still pops up.

Use the tool and follow the instructions. Do all 4 sensors.

Thank you,  i will order one from Amazon and give it a go.

Also when i said the TPMS monitor showed "-" i actually meant "1" even though the tire is inflated to 40 PSI
