Headlight issue

Hi my car has an issue with the levelling device on one of the headlights which is currently inoperative. My mechanic can't seem to find the sensor for this and seems to think it's located in the actual headlight but before I go ahead and purchase headlight I was hoping someone could clarify this please

    Hi,

    The sensors are on the suspension if you have self-levelling lights.

    I assume you need the levelling motor instead?  That is inside the headlight cluster.
