2011 2.2 txs, help with programming keyless fob

Featured Replies

Hi guys, hoping someone can help me out here, I recently purchased the car. It only has one full fob/key. It has half of the other one, not the electronic part just the key itself and the rear casing that holds it, I’ve purchased a new key but I can’t get the car into programming mode. It’s keyless, start on the button. So I don’t have an ignition. But there is a slot for the fob to go in where the ignition would usually be. Does it have to be coded with a bit of kit? Being quoted £120 and £85 to code a key I already have. Any help appreciated. Thankyou
