Ok peeps, being the forward thinking people that we are my wife and i have just paid our funerals, well most of it anyway. Its not a subject that is likely to be discused a lot on here but I just wondered what sort of price others are having to pay in other parts of the country.

    Approximately £3500 for a cremation, basic coffin and one car for my mothers funeral a couple of years ago, I can't remember what extras we went for.

    Haven't done it specifically, but have an insurance policy that will more than cover it, and pay for a dam good holiday to get over losing me 🤣

    Can't help with current costs but mum had paid for her funeral in 2008. Basic coffin, church service not included, no cars etc £2055 + lair £245

     Cost of a basic headstone and lettering, installation plus council fees will be around £2000. 

    Thought I had a price list here but must have just seen it at the funeral directors.
