Instrument cluster / speedo has gone all weird. Turned car on in morning and it was fine. Got to work then turned my car back on again and message center where the miles is, has gone weird. Picture attached.

    Also have you tried changing the fuse for the instrument cluster in the fusebox? They can do weird things when in need of changing. Just a simple thing to try before sending it off for repair. My odometer is playing up but works for a bit when I take fuse out and put it back in. Doesn't fix it in the long run but worth a try.

    Thanks for the replies. I'll check fuses first then. 

    What fuse will it be?  Instrument cluster battery supply, central fuse box or instrument cluster ignition supply, immobilisation system? 

    Also should I disconnect battery or not?

    You might see a change if you do, but only temporarily. - Have you got your radio code ?

    However issues with the LCD content always in my experience require a replacement LCD. You could either buy a used cluster to scavenge one from, or there's this listing on ebay selling a new replacement (of the green variety) from China: www.ebay.co.uk/itm/387901555570

    The cost of the replacement LCD is separate to that of my service fee, for which I'll also resolder the wiring connector solder joints that commonly crack.
