First time asking on here!

I recently purchased a 2012 mk3 focus ST.  Superb car, the previous owner did inform me that the drivers headlight LED strip (DRL) goes off when the main headlights come on, now that’s both when on auto setting or if you switch them on manually.  The DRL LED strip lights do work fine when it’s normal daylight but again a son as it’s dark or you turn the headlights on the drivers side turns itself off!  Looked into it a bit and all I can see it might be the ballast or module.  This only does it on the drivers side by the way! Has anyone had this before and what have you done if anything??
