Sticks in gear!

Featured Replies

Hi anyone able to help with this?

Ford transit courier 1 litre Eco Boost Petrol model

This van drive OK for days then suddenly sticks in gear, can be any gear the only way to shift it is brute force.

I had the van in the garage they diagnosed Slave Cylinder so fitted a new clutch and slave cylinder.

It was OK for a few days then it happened again.

Any ideas what is wrong with it.  I suspect gearbox. I am booking it in a different garage when I have finished work in a couple of days.

Thanks

Granville

Master cylinder.

Next time it happens, switch the engine off, it should come out of gear easily then.
