Ford focus 2015 mk3 1.5 tdci 142k knocking sound when steering is full locked and knocking sound when taken off had car checked nothing obvious any ideas if anyone has encountered anything similar?

    Also when doing 3 point turns no noise when driving.

    I seem to recall there was an issue with the bolts on the steering rack or was it the steering column sheering off which was mentioned on the forum a year or two ago now. Ford did a recall on the affected models but it so long ago I can't remember the details now.
