MPG and starting

Featured Replies

I have got a 2.0 diesel s-max which has done 123000 on a 2010 model. I have recently had a new fuel pump, new injectors, new glow plugs and a new filter. It still doesn't start great, revs slightly on its own and does less miles to the gallon now than it did before the work was done. On a long run I use to get about 60 mpg now it's doing 49 mpg. I was hoping all the new parts would fix the issues but it still got some of the issues that it had before the work was done. It needed a new pump because it wouldn't rev past 2000 rpm when driving. I had the injectors tested and all the electrics on the injectors was broken. What could the issue be now after all the work has been done?
