Can someone please tell me what this is?? It’s connected to the fuel pump and I’m pretty sure it is what is making my engine make a loud ticking noise! Please help!

    Hi it looks to me a NRV non return valve or check valve fuel return back to tank I use these on different engines but they can click some times

    Evap valve.  It's a solenoid so will click in normal operation.

    (But that's not to say yours isn't faulty).
