Night time random alarm sounding

Featured Replies

I bought a 2009 fiesta titanium automatic a month ago, the battery was replaced by the garage as it was flat, and boot lock replaced as it opened when reverse gear was engaged  everything was fine for 1st week, then alarm started going off at 1am, for 3 weeks it's been silent, and now every night for a week it's gone off at 1am, we've removed fuses,  shut doors, sprayed wd40  last night we just left it unlocked. I'm no mechanic, any ideas please? Can't get it booked into ford specialist until 15th and I need sleep! 😫

It very much depends if you are willing to investigate the cause of the problem or just willing to put up with the alarm problem 🤔

If you want to find the cause of the problem then you will need to download FORScan and buy a vLinker FS cable. You will then be able to see what is causing the alarm (last 4 or 6 events are stored).

FORScan (for use with Windows Laptop) : https://forscan.org/download.html

It's what many Ford owners use including some Ford technicians.
