Converse +

Hi all I've got a 60 plate Smax titanium all is great with the car apart from every so often the converse + system packs in.Every so often the display goes all white or the radio and phone options disappear from the display.It is booked in to have it looked at on Monday 18/10/10 But I was wondering if anybody else has had this fault and was it repaired successfully.I am also interested to find out if its true I was reading somewhere carnt remember where it was now but you can have certain options switched on as it where from the master computer in the car,I remember reading that one owner said he had self locking when you start moving turned on,which I am wanting done myself as I really miss this feature from my old car.I know that I could just lock my door which in turn will lock the others but sometimes I forget and its mainly for when the wife's driving on her own.So if this is possible what other options are available and what do I say to mechanic.
