Hi guys, 

so basically I’ve got a MK8 fiesta 1.0 ST- Line which has been remapped and running to 77% more power. As of recently my gearbox has broke to pushing more power than it can I think aha, just wondering if any of you can recommend where to get an up rated gearbox/ LSD gearbox for my fiesta I’ve had a look and I can’t find any!!!

    Your car has the MX65 transmission. The modular design MX65 transmission family contains both 5-speed versions (5MX65) and 6-speed versions (6MX65). This transmission was developed by Ford/Getrag to be cost effective to manufacture. It was never designed to be able to handle high power/torque figures.

    The MX65 transmission family is used on the smaller (lower torque output) engines. Your car already has the strongest available version of the 6MX65 transmission. This transmission is also known as the Getrag 6MTT215 where 215 stands for the maximum allowed torque of 215 Nm that the transmission can handle. 


    Since you already have the strongest version of this transmission you will not find an uprated version. It simply does not exist.
