I’ve seen loads of YouTube vids saying the key is sealed unless it has two small clips where the blade folds into.mine has this but rather than it opening the back to reveal a battery it opens the button side to reveal 3 rubber pressers that the lid pushes to open and close.is this still a sealed battery.there are no little screws and there the original keys.thanks jayIMG_5979.thumb.jpeg.25aa158180fc805834f51da12f3f8623.jpeg

    So the next layer comes off after the plastic,the key has no signs of it being able to come apart down the middle

    Transit fobs are self-charging.  They don't take normal fob batteries.  They take VL2020 batteries.

    There must be some way of opening the case, but presumably not an easy one, as people offer fob repair on ebay.

    For will charge you £120 just for a new fob, without programming, so it is worth having these fobs repaired if possible.
