Fuel light

Featured Replies

Hi hoping someone can help me out.

Friday eve I got in my car to find all my trips have changed and restored back to factory settings, was able to change back to desired settings and all seemed fine. Since then every 2/3 minutes while driving it pops up on my dash how many miles I have untill empty (223/222) ect. Had battery tested and battery life is fine. Had a diagnostic From a family member put on but no faults, anyone have any ideal what this could be? Fuel gauge pin seems to be working fine. I have it booked in to garage next week so hoping it’s something simple.
thanks

Are you sure the battery has been tested properly?

Be mindful because both our 68 & 19 Fiestas have had new batteries and they just died with no warning

Hey, yes I had it tested at Halfords 2 days ago, it just Constantly telling me the amount of fuel left before empty. Very strange, I think it could possibly be electrical fault ?
