Faulty injector

Hi folks. New to the club and unfortunately it's a post about something going wrong.

I've had the dreaded engine malfunction light come on and had a check done. It's coming up as a faulty injector and there was a code regarding oil. Could the injector be firing to much fuel and going down the bores into the sump?

    Was this using FORScan or just a generic code reader ?
