Quite constant bleep from engine bay

Featured Replies

I was at work and closed the van doors but didn’t lock them and as I walked past the engine bay I could hear a quiet constant bleep.

I assumed when the side lights went off the bleeding would stop. It it didn’t.when I checked after 15 mins it had stopped,so I opened the same doors to see if it returned.NO!!!

also my fan IMG_5966.thumb.jpeg.f8f6846672cbf4f4080a018ad392399c.jpegspeed is intermittently not as powerful and it’s just had a regas and I’ve changed the cabin filter.

I cannot work out if the button to control where the airflow goes is working correctly also.Does  this all point to one problem.

Ive only just got the van second hand and had the wet belt done(told it was fine although it had never been replaced) two new tyres and the front wheels we’re pointing away from each other causing it to squeal when going round the corner at 25 mile an hour. Both keys need batteries and the horn sounds twice when I unlock, hopefully that’s the batteries but some people say it’s the door lock mechanism.Oh nearly forgot £180 on new battery and £180 to IMG_5966.thumb.jpeg.f8f6846672cbf4f4080a018ad392399c.jpeg AA and come out to get the van

ChatGPT ?

I don't think AI would have made the quite/quiet typo?  Grammar doesn't look AI either.

Whines from engine bays aren't uncommon though.  They do last for a while after switch-off.  I assume most people can't hear them.  I can hear all of the damn motion-sensitive cat scarers whining when I walk past them as well.  Presumably the people that put those outside their houses can't hear them.

Don't know specifically what's causing it in this case, or whether it's an actual fault.

Your other faults sound like low charge in the 12v battery.  But that's new if I'm reading right?

If this has fobs with rechargeable batteries, those are not easy to change.

Ffs why would I waste my time using AI about my problems with my van.Total waste of time even writing that answer. If you’ve got nothing interesting to say better say nothing. in your case,it will be a lot of silence,

I've got plenty to say, and I'm dam sure I won't be listening to anything you have to say.

I urge others to look back at your previous posts (some of which i stupidly tried to offer help).

Clearly you would be well advised to leave vehicle repairs to someone far more qualified than yourself.
