Ford fiesta 08. Central locking.Car locks but doesn't unlock

Recently brought a 08 plate fiesta 3door. Theres an issue with the central locking system. I got both keys and it'll lock the car but won't unlock it. When im trying this while inside the car, I can hear a clicking noise under the steering wheel but the doors won't unlock even though the auto fold mirrors fold out. But when I unlock the doors via the handles and then press unlock on the key, you can hear the locking system working, (clanking noise) like when your locking it also. Also the boot doesnt unlock with key (you can hear the locking making a noise with the key but the button on dashboard doesn't send any signals so basically i have to manually insert key to get in the car & boot everytime.

P.s both passenger and drivers have door unlocked with the key but very rarely so this shows the mechanism can work but something not allowing it.

Any ideas?
