Ford Kuga Club Cruise control always on? Kuga mk1 2008 2.0

Featured Replies

Is there any possibility of having the cruise control always on, so after turning on the engine I would only need to press "Set" or "-" to paintain speed without the need of activating it always first pressing "On"?

No.

No.

That is awesome.

I thought that Forscan and Elmconfig were the answer to everything.

I remember driving older Chryslers, where the on button was a toggle on/off so when pushed the cruise control was on for good.

Software changes can only be made where they were optional from the factory.  Forscan & ELMC still have limitations.

My Golf also has a toggle switch like that, so it's always on.  I'm afraid Fords of this era just aren't designed like that.
