Engine Water Temperature Low

Featured Replies

Evening all.

Recently noticed that my engine temp gauge doesn’t ever seem to move past this point even on a long drive.

I’ve read elsewhere that it’s likely to be a faulty sensor however I’m just after some other opinions here on what you lot think.

Connect FORScan and see if there are any DTC's.

I'd have thought it was probably a stuck open thermostat.

Bought a replacement thermostat assembly from Ford and after replacing my now have a properly functioning temperature gauge.

Just in case anyone else has a similar issue in the future. 👍
