03 ford focus LX leaking from power steering pump connector

back again with more questions, so i found a pump that has everything in the right spot except for the switch, on the new pump, it doesnt have the spot for the switch unless its hidden and cant be seen in the photo, any tips? and i now realize that the power steering pump thats shown on catcar.info isnt the same as the one thats installed

That's a threaded bung.  It can be removed with a large allen key (hex key) and then the switch can be screwed in.

which threaded bung? cause on the one in my car doesnt use the ones shown on the new one

The black part in the centre of the red circle looks like a threaded bung to me.  Like this - 

475/3/4NPT/NP - HAWKE 475 3/4"NPT PLUG N/PLATED

But I see what you mean now, the switch is under that on your own pump.  I'm not sure now.  The switch obviously needs a certain amount of depth inside the pump.

As your pump is broken anyway, you could try unscrewing the bung on yours to see what happens...  If you do try it, put something underneath to catch any fluid.

will be heading over to a local place tomorrow check out a secondhand pump so hopefully it will match up with whats in my car, if not then ill need to get the old one out and check it over and go from there
