Hi all,  so I'm at a total loss.  My hid headlamp is not working on the offside. Ive changed the bulb, changed ballast pack, changed mini fuse for headlights within the car.  No error codes up. I've had two auto electricians take a look. One said it wasn't a uk genuine ford headlight (it's the eu one 13d154-de rather than 13005-df)  genuine ford just not uk ford. Anyway, this auto guy said needs a whole new headlamp assembly, second auto electrician said it was an adaptor/ device that sits in front of the headlight that is faulty and the only way you can get to it is by smashing the front glass on the assembly itself which they wouldn't do so again suggested a new headlamp assembly was the only option...

I then spoke to ford customer services and Ford themselves who assured me the 13005-df was compatible with my focus st3 mark 3 face-lift 2017 estate and it wouldn't require programming or coding. Just plug in and rtg.

Well I've just forked out £800 for a brand new headlight assembly. I have had to change over the bulbs and the ballast pack as they were not supplied. Plugged it in, hoping it would work ... drl is only working hid headlamp not working and now even the indicator light on the headlamp isn't working whereas with the old one it was?  and when I hit the indicator stalk it double flashes and the mirror indicator is also double speed. 

 

To top this all off it's due it's mot on the 10th which it obviously will fail because of this...

I'm thinking my only option now is to get it into Ford and suffer the bill damage 💔 anything I've missed you think?
