my 2012 focus 1.6 has developed a problem where it wont start i turn the key but get nothing i can try it up to 10 times then all of a sudden it starts any idea what the problem could be, many thanks in advance for your help.

    It could be that the starter motor is worn out & needs repair or renewal. Or, it could be a faulty ignition switch. But, it needs diagnosing properly before spending money.

    When you turn the key to the start position, can you hear a click from the starter, can you see the dash lights dim slightly?

    My ford cmax did that i brought new igniton switch sorted the problem . Very easy to do yourself  good luck
