Door car rattle

Featured Replies

Don't know if this is the right place to post but I've had the car a couple of weeks and love it. But I door rat a rattle from what I believe to be bothered front door cards. Is this a common issue? I know it was more before 2024 but I have the face lift model with the different screens and interior.

Any advice appreciated

?

Normal procedure is to press down on the door card in various places to see if you can stop the rattle whilst car is in motion, narrowing down the area that is causing the issue.

What have you been feeding the rat with ?

Perhaps something has not agreed with it, and it's feeling a little rattled  🤣

It's hard as I drive on my own 9 times out of 10 but when I manage to reach over on a straight and sorta pull the handle slightly it seems to dampen the sound. Drivers side sounds a little different as if something is knocking/ loose and I can't verify if putting pressure on the door card eases it or if I'm not doing it for long enough. Other than those 2 niggles though I love it and if it persists (which it will as I've owned enough fords) I'll pop back but to have it sorted but once I pin point them areas. Hopefully it's not a rat hiding somewhere :')

Hopefully someone will be able to help me on this one. So went back to the dealer today. The rattles have pretty much gone. Maybe a. Slight one still drivers side but barely noticable. The problem on the passenger is that it still persists but I've narrowed it down as it also now creaks. Turns out it's the dashboard somewhere along the edge. When I press the dash there it basically creaks. Not between the A pillar though as I have stuck foam between to test. Is there some way I can get in there through the glove box to maybe see whats going on? I don't want to keep going back to the dealer if I can help not :').
