Network Communication Error

Featured Replies

I've had my car for 3 weeks, it's a 70 plate Focus ST Line with 45,000 on the clock. I was driving to work this morning and the screen said "parking sensor malfunction" then everything turned off, the speedo, dashboard, indicators etc but the car would still drive.

Then the screen went off and it said "network communication error" and the car won't start at all

Obviously I've contacted the dealership but they won't be open at 6:30am so just wondered if anyone else has had this problem?

Suspect poor battery performance first, the batteries on these are rubbish.

Stick a new battery on and see if it cures it

Update.

The RAC came out and ran a diagnostics check and the list was endless, I've only had the car 3 weeks 🤦🏻‍♂️

Apparently the Body Control Module has lost it's communication so the car had to be reset.
