Just did  price comparison quote on home insurance with the cheapest giving out £510. On getting my actual renewal (Direct Line) I was so grateful when it came in at £307, so grateful I almost just accepted it at face value. However, a 5 minute phone call to them got me a further £30 discount! Always pays to ask 😂 (£276 is a  price I'm well pleased with)
