If you know these then sorry for wasting your time. If you don't, I hope you can benefit from my learnings:

1) the yellow warning light of a wrench and oil can - I cancelled after changing the oil/filter by a) pressing brake and accelerator pedal at same time, b) turning on ignition, c) waiting for the warning light to flash, d) turn ignition off, e) release brake and accelerator pedals, f) start the engine to confirm warning light doesn't stay on.

2) the red oil can warning light oil - oil level can be 4.5 litres below full mark without the warning light didn't come on!

3) often putting '2015 Ford Ranger' in a search engine often gets the 2015 facelift version, which is not normally a problem. Putting '2013 Ford Ranger' returns the pre-facelift version. Sounds obvious, but it ensures get getting the correct version.

    Because it is an oil pressure warning light and not an oil level indication light. 🤔

    Which could be exactly what you want if you have the facelift version. 👍
