tynecougar
Hi Folks, just wondered if anyone knew how long it takes to replace the rear shock absorbers on a ford cougar approx? Mine have gone and I was looking at the rough time it may take a garage to fix. I have the parts already.

Mine have gone and I was looking at the rough time it may take a garage to fix. I have the parts already. How much did they cost you then? I recently had a service and was told I have a leaking shock absorber, and so of course it needs to be replaced. But you shouldn't really replace just one and it's recommended to change both across one axle. Great! Obviously different cars will be different but what were yours? And are they standard ones, or sports etc?

EDIT: i presume its quite an involved job on the cougar, autodata has a book time of 2.2 hours :o thats for a 2001 2l
